Government Moves to Curb Violence
Following a series of violent protests that left several people injured and public property damaged, the Punjab government has decided to recommend a ban on Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP). Officials confirmed that the summary will soon be forwarded to the federal government for necessary action.
Law Enforcement Reports Property Damage
According to police reports, TLP protesters clashed with law enforcement in multiple districts, resulting in injuries to officers and civilians. Several vehicles were torched, and traffic remained suspended for hours in major cities including Lahore and Muridke.
Decision Aimed at Restoring Peace
Government representatives stated that the move to ban the organization is aimed at restoring peace and ensuring public safety. Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining law and order and warned that no group will be allowed to hold the state hostage through violence.
