NADRA Overseas Centers Expanded to Facilitate Pakistani Nationals Abroad

NADRA Expands Overseas Centers for Pakistanis

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has taken a significant step to facilitate overseas Pakistanis by expanding its NADRA overseas centers across multiple countries. According to an official statement, the initiative aims to make identification and registration services more convenient for millions of Pakistanis living abroad.

NADRA stated that these new centers will help address common challenges faced by overseas citizens, including delays in documentation, renewal of National Identity Cards for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP), and family record verification.

New NADRA Overseas Centers Activated in Four Countries

The new NADRA overseas centers have been set up at Pakistani embassies and consulates in key global locations. According to the official announcement, centers have been activated in:

  • Montreal and Vancouver (Canada)

  • Milan (Italy)

  • Manama (Bahrain)

  • Amman (Jordan)

Additionally, NADRA confirmed that a new overseas center in Rome, Italy, will soon become operational to further extend services for Pakistani expatriates in Europe.

These facilities are part of NADRA’s broader vision to create a global digital identity network that connects Pakistanis worldwide with faster, more reliable registration systems.

Enhanced Services for Overseas Pakistanis

Through these newly opened NADRA overseas centers, overseas Pakistanis can now easily access essential services including:

  • NICOP and CNIC renewal

  • Family registration verification

  • Data correction and record updates

  • Biometric verification

NADRA’s management emphasized that the upgraded overseas facilities will significantly reduce processing times and eliminate the need for lengthy embassy visits. Citizens will be able to complete most services in a single visit.

New Digital Family Verification System Introduced

Alongside expanding its overseas network, NADRA also launched a new digital verification system for Pakistani citizens. Under this system, individuals can now confirm whether any unauthorized or unrelated person has been added to their family registration record.

This measure aims to prevent identity misuse, strengthen data security, and ensure the accuracy of family databases. NADRA advised all Pakistani citizens, both within the country and abroad, to review and verify their family data regularly using this new feature.

NADRA’s Commitment to Digital Inclusion

Officials from NADRA reiterated that the authority is committed to enhancing citizen convenience through digital innovation. The launch of new NADRA overseas centers reflects the organization’s long-term strategy to bring government services closer to overseas communities.

In recent years, NADRA has introduced several digital reforms, including online ID applications, e-verification tools, and mobile registration vans operating across Pakistan. These initiatives collectively aim to make citizen data management more accessible, secure, and transparent.
