NADRA Introduces Digital Arms Licence Renewal
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched an online facility that enables citizens to renew their arms licences from the comfort of their homes. The service is part of ongoing digital transformation drive to improve public convenience through technology.
How the Process Works
Applicants can log in to NADRA’s official portal, upload necessary documents, pay the renewal fee online, and track the application status in real time. Once processed, the renewed licence can be collected or delivered, depending on the applicant’s chosen option.
Promoting Transparency and Efficiency
Officials said the initiative will help eliminate middlemen and long queues at offices. It also supports the government’s broader vision of promoting e-governance and digital facilitation for citizens nationwide.
