Asim Munir Balochistan: COAS Highlights Development, Peace, and National Unity
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir’s interaction with participants of the 17th National Workshop Balochistan at the General Headquarters (GHQ) reflected his deep commitment to the province’s development, stability, and inclusion in Pakistan’s national progress. He stressed that the province holds immense untapped potential that can drive Pakistan’s growth and stability when utilized effectively through inclusive and sustainable development strategies.
The Army Chief’s acknowledgment of Balochistan’s contribution underscored the military leadership’s dedication to national integration and balanced development across all regions. He highlighted that strengthening Balochistan’s infrastructure, education, and economy is vital for ensuring long-term national unity.
Government and Army Collaboration for Development
During his address, General Asim Munir highlighted the ongoing federal and provincial governments’ development initiatives, all aimed at uplifting Balochistan through a people-centric approach. He reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s determination to eliminate terrorism, stating that ongoing operations are focused on ensuring lasting peace and safety for the province’s people. General Munir highlighted that these external and internal threats aim to disrupt development but assured that the armed forces remain fully committed to neutralizing such threats.

In his closing remarks, Asim Munir emphasized Pakistan’s consistent desire for regional peace and stability.
