Winter Arrives in Muzaffarabad
The city of Muzaffarabad experienced its first snowfall of the season, turning the region’s hills and valleys into a stunning white landscape. The snowfall began late Friday night and continued intermittently into Saturday morning, signaling the start of winter in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
Temperature Drop and Public Response
Following the snowfall, the temperature dropped sharply, forcing residents to bring out warm clothing and heating appliances. Tourists from nearby areas also flocked to Muzaffarabad to enjoy the breathtaking scenery and chilly weather.
Authorities Issue Travel Advisory
authorities have urged visitors to drive carefully on slippery mountain routes and to stay updated on weather advisories. Despite the cold, the snowfall has brought joy to the people and boosted tourism activity in the region.
