Modernizing Punjab’s Agriculture Sector
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the Hi-Tech Farm Machinery Financing Portal — a digital platform designed to make advanced agricultural machinery accessible to farmers across the province.
Easy Financing for Farmers
Through this initiative, farmers will be able to purchase tractors, harvesters, and other modern tools on easy financing terms. The move is expected to enhance agricultural output, reduce manual labor, and promote sustainable farming.
Digital Governance and Transparency
Officials said the online portal will ensure transparency and efficiency by allowing farmers to apply, verify eligibility, and track the status of their applications digitally. The system is part of CM Maryam Nawaz vision to integrate technology into Punjab’s agriculture sector.
Empowering Rural Communities
The government aims to empower small and medium-scale farmers by giving them affordable access to machinery, improving income levels, and strengthening the province’s food security.
