Fishermen Return Home Safely

A group of 54 Pakistani fishermen, freed from Indian prisons, arrived in Karachi after being handed over to authorities at the Wagah Border. The men were received in Lahore, where immigration and security checks were completed before their journey to Karachi.

Official Response and Coordination

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan continues to work with India for the early release of all remaining fishermen detained due to maritime boundary disputes. Officials also highlighted the humanitarian aspect of such cases and the need for improved bilateral coordination.
