Report Highlights Children Living in Punjab Jails

Authorities’ Response
Punjab prison officials stated that efforts are being made to provide basic necessities and welfare facilities to imprisoned mothers and 140 children. Plans are also being considered to collaborate with NGOs for the better care and rehabilitation of these young inmates.
