Traffic Chaos in Karachi
A protest by Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) disrupted traffic flow in several parts of Karachi on Sunday. Major roads were blocked, and public transport was halted for hours, causing inconvenience to thousands of commuters.
Vehicles Damaged During Unrest
According to initial reports, some vehicles were damaged during the demonstration. Eyewitnesses said the protest turned tense as participants clashed with police in certain areas. However, law enforcement officials managed to disperse the crowd and clear the roads later in the day.
Authorities Seek Calm
City administration and police urged protesters to demonstrate peacefully and avoid property damage. Negotiations are underway between government representatives and TLP leaders to resolve the situation through dialogue.
