Pak-Afghan Border Tensions Dominate High-Level Meeting

The ongoing Pak-Afghan border tensions were the central topic during a high-level meeting between President Asif Ali Zardari and Field Marshal and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir on Wednesday. The meeting, held at the President House in Islamabad, focused on Pakistan’s current political and security landscape, with special attention to the rising instability and military challenges along the Pakistan-Afghanistan frontier.

According to the official statement, both leaders discussed recent developments at the Pak-Afghan border, where several security incidents have increased regional concerns.
